The Big Ride

I retired in January 2019.  With nothing exciting to do on the horizon, I decided to ride my bike from Key West, FL to Fort Kent, ME!  Here (in reverse order) are the VLOG's for each day of my ride.  Yes, I did it by myself.  No, I didn't do Route 1 all the way.  I went up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and through the Shenandoah Valley.  And while I originally planned to camp along the way, that was quickly replaced by following Bed & Breakfasts and Breweries along the way!  I managed to raise about $4,000 for Cancer research during the ride.  I hope you take a look at some of my VLOG's and the ride.

Cancer Research Institute is a high quality cancer charity focused on development of immunotherapies for cancer.  These therapies promise better outcomes with fewer side effects than current medieval methods of cancer treatment.  I have a goal of raising $100,000 for this research through my CRI donation page.​
